About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring weekend caregivers to support seniors in their homes in Framingham, Ashland, and nearby communities. The role offers short, flexible shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, or both, with morning, afternoon, and evening options. Visits may be stacked for more hours or kept light for extra income, making the work suitable for people with weekday jobs, classes, or family commitments. Caregivers provide assistance tailored to each client and their own level of experience. The agency welcomes HHAs, CNAs, PCAs, homemakers, companions, and new caregivers who are willing to train. The company describes itself as family-owned and offers paid training and ongoing support. Health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off are available to eligible staff. Requirements
- Be reliable and kind.
- Be able to follow a care plan.
- Caregiving credentials or experience are not required; new caregivers with the right attitude will be trained.
Nice To Haves
- HHA, CNA, or PCA qualification or experience.
- Experience as a homemaker or companion.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and conversation.
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and simple personal care, depending on the client and caregiver's level.
- Prepare easy meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run quick errands and provide medication reminders.
- Help keep clients' homes safe, comfortable, and calm through the weekend.
