About The Position
Senior Helpers Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers are matched to clients based on their area of expertise and support clients with daily activities, companionship, and engagement. The role offers training and professional growth opportunities, team support, and scheduling flexibility. Senior Helpers is an independently owned and operated franchisee of SH Franchising, LLC dba Senior Helpers. The organization provides in-home senior care, including specialized care for people with chronic diseases and companion services for seniors needing help with daily activities. Responsibilities
- Build relationships through engaging conversations with clients.
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies and activities, such as scrapbooking, gardening, and games.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Report completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
