About The Position
Senior Helpers of Lake Norman is hiring caregivers to provide in-home care and support to seniors. The role offers the opportunity to build a genuine connection with clients and help improve their quality of life. Care assignments are matched to the caregiver’s area of expertise. Applicants with backgrounds such as CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA are invited to apply. Senior Helpers of Lake Norman is an independently owned and operated franchisee of SH Franchising, LLC, doing business as Senior Helpers. The organization provides services ranging from specialized care for people with chronic diseases to companionship and assistance with daily activities. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- A caring and compassionate attitude and enjoyment of helping others.
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
- Background or credentials as a CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
