About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Cumberland County, PA is seeking dependable and experienced caregivers for daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will show up, communicate effectively, follow through on commitments, and take pride in their work. This role involves building lasting relationships with clients and becoming a trusted member of their care team, providing companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and transportation. The position requires following individualized care plans, observing and reporting changes in client needs, communicating with the office, maintaining documentation, and creating a safe and positive environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience caring for older adults
- High School Diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Three strong professional references
