About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to support clients in Durham and surrounding cities. Caregivers provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes with personal care, companionship, mobility support, transportation, and light housekeeping. The role offers pay of $15–$19 per hour, with full-time and part-time schedule options and shifts available during days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. Caregivers receive support from local teams and can build relationships with clients while supporting aging adults.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
- Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Provide mobility support to clients.
