About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Indiana school district to hire an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and help elementary learners make progress toward individual goals. The role involves creating accessible learning experiences tailored to students’ strengths, academic needs, and behavioral goals, using differentiated teaching methods and structured support in resource and inclusive classrooms. The teacher will collaborate with educators, specialists, school staff, and families to coordinate student services, evaluate progress, and align instruction with each student’s educational plan.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education.
• Hold an active Indiana teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement.
• Be prepared to adapt instruction and provide individualized support across varied learning environments.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused instruction through individualized sessions and small-group activities.
• Facilitate student support meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning.
• Establish measurable learning objectives and oversee the implementation of student IEPs.
• Encourage classroom participation, positive behaviors, and inclusive learning experiences.
• Review student performance records to identify growth, challenges, and instructional priorities.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families, teachers, administrators, and related-service professionals.
• Customize teaching materials, classroom activities, and instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning profiles.
