About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an experienced caregiver for a client in Katy, Texas. The caregiver will support an older adult with personal care, household tasks, meals, mobility, and companionship. The role serves individuals who may have disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses. Applicants must be vaccinated as required by the client. The listed pay is $11–$16 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act compassionately and supportively.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Must be vaccinated as required by the client.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
Enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is eager to improve and learn new skills.
Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently independently.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help the client with mobility at home and outside the home, including attending appointments, walks, and grocery shopping.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and prepare meals, and help serve meals.
Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning.
Provide companion care and activities that support daily living.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
Enforce health and safety standards.
