About The Position
Almost Family - Southern Oregon is hiring a part-time or full-time Caregiver to help seniors and individuals with disabilities remain independent in their own homes in the Redmond, Oregon area. The role provides personal care and companionship to clients. Compensation is $21–$22 per hour, paid biweekly. Benefits include paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, and paid training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor clients’ health and document their needs.
- Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry.
- Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities.
- Assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and other errands.
