About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide essential support to seniors in the Sandy Spring area. This role offers flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time positions available, including day and night shifts. You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Our agency is certified with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice and is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Clean criminal background check.
Live Scan / Fingerprinting.
Reliable transportation with insurance.
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., 2 forms of ID like Driver's License or Identification/passport or Permanent Resident ID/Social Security Card).
CPR + First Aid certification.
TB test or chest X-ray required.

Nice To Haves

Formal training or experience in the home care field or school for at least 6 months is desired.

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide transportation for appointments, pharmacy, and grocery shopping.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
Administer medication reminders.
Offer mobility and toiletry assistance.
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities such as attending senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, and taking walks.
Maintain detailed records of services provided and client conditions via an online portal.
Notify the Care Coordinator of any significant changes or incidents during the shift.
