About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality in-home care to seniors throughout Westford, Acton, Carlisle, Concord, Chelmsford, Littleton, and surrounding communities. If you're passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life while working with a supportive, locally owned home care agency, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Current certification for CNA, HHA or PCA
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing mobility assistance and transfer support
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Running errands and assisting with grocery shopping
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
• Supporting clients with daily activities and routines
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided
