About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality in-home care to seniors throughout Westford, Acton, Carlisle, Concord, Chelmsford, Littleton, and surrounding communities. As a caregiver with Abernathy Home Care, you'll provide personalized support that allows clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Requirements

• Current certification for CNA, HHA or PCA
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing mobility assistance and transfer support
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Running errands and assisting with grocery shopping
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
• Supporting clients with daily activities and routines
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided
