About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, reliable CNAs and HHAs for full-time positions, working three 12-hour shifts per week in a luxurious Cottage Community for a 24/7 client. We are an award-winning company that values and respects our caregivers, providing them with an RN Supervisor for support. We focus on building connections, getting creative, and enhancing our clients' quality of life. Our service area includes Norfolk and Suffolk Counties and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification required.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting (hospital or Rehab experience will be considered).
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes.
• Occasional transportation of clients for appointments or errands.
• Demonstrate dedication to clients and respect for the team.
