About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, reliable, and high-performing CNAs and HHAs for full-time positions involving three 12-hour shifts per week. We offer a supportive environment with an RN Supervisor, opportunities for career advancement, and a focus on building connections with clients to enhance their quality of life. We serve a broad area including Norfolk and Suffolk Counties and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Current CNA or HHA certification required
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting, will consider candidates with hospital or Rehab experience
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes.
• Occasional transportation of clients for appointments or errands.
