About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support seniors in aging in place in their own homes. Caregivers work individually with clients, providing one-on-one, non-medical services and companionship. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

• A CNA or HHA license is preferred, or at least 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• For transporting clients, proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required.
• Proof of current TB testing.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable demeanor.
• Pass a criminal background check, including national and state-required checks.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship.
• Perform light cooking and cleaning.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with ambulation and provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
