About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a reliable team member to assist an adult client in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This assignment offers a consistent schedule, with the possibility of picking up additional hours as they become available. The role involves hands-on personal assistance and mobility support. CareOne Senior Care is an Award Winning home care agency serving Oakland, Livingston, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties in Southeast Michigan!

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be dependable and able to maintain the agreed-upon schedule
• Feel comfortable providing hands-on assistance
• Be physically able to perform the duties required for the assignment

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Hoyer equipment and wheelchair transfers is preferred
• PEG tube experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene and getting ready for the day
• Moving safely throughout the home
• Wheelchair positioning and transfers
• Use of a Hoyer lift when needed
• Meal preparation and kitchen cleanup
• Medication reminders
• Basic household upkeep
• Social interaction and companionship
• Transportation-related needs
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
