About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Johnson City, TN. As a caregiver, you will provide essential in-home care services to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass background checks
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders and support
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Report any changes in client condition or concerns to the supervisory team
