About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring caregivers in the Hutchinson, Kansas area to help clients remain in their homes. Caregivers provide light housekeeping, personal care, meal assistance, errands, and companionship. Full-time pay is $17 per hour, paid weekly. A $500 sign-on bonus is available after maintaining a full-time schedule for 90 days. Flexible scheduling is offered for people seeking part-time or full-time work. Paid training, multiple major medical plans, and spousal insurance are also offered.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least six months of related PCA experience, personal or professional.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and clean up afterward.
• Provide bathing and personal care.
• Perform basic household chores, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Do laundry.
• Provide companionship.
• Run errands.
