About The Position

Join Pilgrim Place, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, CA, where respect, teamwork, and compassion guide all we do. We’re seeking a dependable On-Call Caregiver to provide personal assistance and support to residents at Pitzer Lodge, helping them maintain independence and quality of life in a warm, home-like environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Current First Aid certification.
• One year of caregiving experience in a community care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, mobility, and meal support.
• Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Build meaningful relationships to promote a supportive, homelike atmosphere.
• Support team initiatives, safety practices, and quality care standards.
• Assist in dining, activities, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
