About The Position

At Sevita’s Colter Group Home, caregivers help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. The role supports participants’ community involvement and favorite activities, and helps them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers also assist with personal hygiene and support people who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Sevita describes the work as a stable opportunity with supportive supervisors and access to training and development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities
