Caregiver Urgently Hiring (Tri-Cities)
About The Position
At Preferred Care at Home Tri Cities, our mission is simple: to enhance the quality of life for older adults, Veterans, people with disabilities, and their families by providing access to compassionate caregivers and supportive service personnel. We are looking for dependable, compassionate Caregivers to join our team and provide in-home care throughout Carter, Johnson, Washington, Unicoi, Sullivan, and Hawkins Counties. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Compassionate and reliable attitude
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Auto insurance with at least $50,000 liability coverage
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience is helpful but not required — we’ll train the right person
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.)
- Prepare meals & offer medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help ensure clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes
Benefits
- $15.00–$16.00 per hour (based on experience & availability)
- Flexible scheduling: work 20–40 hours per week with 2–8 hour shifts
