About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers in Philadelphia and surrounding communities to provide quality in-home support to seniors. Requirements

• CNA, HHA, or DC-certified caregivers or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle preferred
• Current TB Test – 2-step PPD, Chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON blood test
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and professional work ethic
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care
• Preparing meals and helping with grocery shopping
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
• Supporting mobility and everyday activities
• Helping clients maintain their routines and independence
• Communicating client needs or changes with families and our office team
