Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, with the employer offering help to obtain it upon hire; must meet state background requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
- California applicants must provide timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes.
- Assist with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, or other activities.
