About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults in San Diego, California, and surrounding areas. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- HCA Registration with the State of California; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
- Meet state background requirements, including California fingerprint identification and applicable screening requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients one-to-one with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands, including grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
