About The Position

Assisting Hands Kennesaw is a local team that has been caring for families in Cobb County for years. They are looking for a dependable caregiver to help clients stay in their homes. The primary need is for weekday daytime hours, approximately 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. The role involves building a consistent schedule with the same clients. Evening and overnight shifts are also available for additional hours. The company provides compassionate, dependable in-home care rooted in dignity, respect, and personalized support, helping clients maintain their quality of life.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray

Nice To Haves

• CNA or PCA background
• Prior professional caregiving experience is not required; experience caring for a family member is considered.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping
• Give medication reminders
• Watch for fall risks and changes in how someone is doing
• Be a steady, familiar presence for clients
