About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide personal care services to residents according to their individual care or service plans. The role supports multiple clients at scheduled times throughout the day, with duties varying according to each client’s needs. The caregiver helps promote quality, continuity, and safety of care while maintaining positive relationships with residents and staff. Travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services as outlined in each client’s care or service plan.
Provide medication reminders, assistance with showers, laundry, linen changes, and escorts to appointments or activities as needed.
Provide homemaking, companion or sitter, transportation, escort, and related medical services as assigned.
Meet patients’ safety needs and use equipment safely and properly, including foot stools and side rails.
Follow the organization’s privacy policies and infection-control protocols, and maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
Attend assigned in-service training and education sessions.
Perform other specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by a supervisor.
