About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personalized care and companionship to seniors in their homes in the Venice area. The role offers flexible scheduling around caregiver availability, with many opportunities during weekday daytime hours depending on client needs. Caregivers provide one-on-one client care and follow individualized care plans while communicating professionally with clients’ families and the office team. Initial and ongoing training, a supportive office team, travel reimbursement, performance incentives, and career growth opportunities are offered. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Applicants with caregiving experience may apply with or without CNA/HHA certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Smartphone and email access required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Prepare meals.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
