About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in Cambridge, Ohio. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and provide companionship and peace of mind to clients and their families. The role is open to experienced caregivers and people new to caregiving; the company provides training, support, shadowing, and mentoring. Caregivers assist with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and emotional support. Schedules are flexible, with 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts available. Supportive office staff are available 24/7.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help clients with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
