About The Position
At Right at Home Wilmington, our caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, connected, and independent in the homes they love. We're looking for experienced caregivers who understand that sometimes the most important thing you can give someone is your time, patience, and attention.
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs
- Reliable attendance
- A valid driver's license and their own reliable vehicle
- Can speak, read, write, and understand English
- Available at least 2 days per week
- Treat clients with dignity and respect
- Comfortable working independently
Responsibilities
- Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with toileting and mobility
- Prepare meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Accompany clients to activities or appointments
- Provide respite for family caregivers
- Help clients maintain their independence
