About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers for flexible shifts in Franklin County, including immediate and upcoming 24/7 case openings. Caregivers may choose 4-hour, 8-hour, or 12-hour shifts on weekdays and/or weekends. The role is described as part-time, with the potential to work full-time hours if desired. Caregivers may build a schedule suited to their availability and often work with one or two consistent clients, helping seniors remain safe and comfortable at home. Compensation is $15.50–$17.50 per hour, based on experience and shift, with a $5 gas supplement for each shift, a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive, mileage reimbursement at the national rate when transporting clients, and yearly pay increases. Training is paid and available virtually or in person. The company also offers dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and accidental critical illness insurance; holiday pay at time and a half; and 24/7 emergency support staff.

Requirements

At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
Family caregiving experience is accepted.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities
