About The Position
ComForCare is looking for a female caregiver for a female bedbound client in Des Plaines. The shift is Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. The caregiver will play an essential role in providing companionship, socialization, and basic needs support to clients, helping them live independently and continue to do the things they love. ComForCare celebrates the value of its caregivers and offers ongoing training, development, and support.
Requirements
- Experience with bed bound clients.
- Experience changing depends/diapers.
- Experience with bed baths.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
