About The Position

Caring Senior Service is hiring experienced Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in San Benito, Los Fresnos, and nearby communities. The role supports seniors in remaining healthy, happy, and at home through one-on-one care in clients’ homes.

The employer offers flexible scheduling, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, extended, and PRN shifts. Caregivers are supported by a responsive local team, open communication, reliable scheduling, and ongoing training. The position may offer consistent client assignments when available, merit-based pay increases, and career development opportunities.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Caring, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification; certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Bilingual English/Spanish abilities.
• Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice care, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or private-duty caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with walking, mobility, repositioning, and transfers.
• Provide toileting assistance and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and help clients with eating.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Help with errands, transportation, and appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Support each client's dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff.
