Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in personal care, transferring, and meal prep is required.
Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, professional demeanor.
Reliability: Consistent attendance and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard Illinois Caregiver Background Check .
Training: Completion of or willingness to complete state-mandated caregiver training (8-12 hours annually).

Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities including showering , bathing, dressing, and grooming while maintaining their dignity.
Transferring & Mobility: Safely help clients move around their homes, including transferring from beds or chairs.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on client dietary needs.
Light Housekeeping: Keep the home environment clean and safe (laundry, vacuuming, dishes).
Companionship: Provide emotional support and a friendly face for our clients.
