About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting an experienced Laundry Supervisor for a long term care nursing facility in Rome, NY. The role of the Laundry Supervisor is to assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing the Laundry Department. Experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or healthcare setting is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Environmental Services or housekeeping Management experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure needed laundry supplies and equipment are available.
- Oversee the collecting and sorting soiled linen. Loading, unloading machines, and folding clean linen.
- Oversee clean, fold, and deliver personal clothing to the residents.
- Operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment to provide fresh clean linens.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
