About The Position
Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is currently seeking amazing Caregivers to service clients in and around the Avondale area. We are looking for individuals to help keep clients' homes clean and clutter-free, assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands, perform personal care assistance including bathing and grooming, provide companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones, maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff, and perform all non-medical home care services as needed. We serve Delaware county, Chester county and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray
- Clear background checks, and drug screening
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
- Proof of Vaccination
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, and DSP Certification preferred
- Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
