About The Position

Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is seeking amazing Caregivers to service clients in and around the Avondale area. We serve Delaware county, Chester county and the surrounding areas. We are looking for individuals who can help keep clients' homes clean and clutter-free, assist with meal preparation and errands, perform personal care, provide companionship, and maintain communication between clients, families, and the office. All applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
• Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray
• Clear background checks, and drug screening
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, and DSP Certification preferred
• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
