About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking dependable caregivers in North Port to provide personalized, one-on-one assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes. The role supports clients in living comfortably and independently in familiar surroundings, following individualized care plans and communicating professionally with families and office staff.

The position offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, primarily weekday day shifts, initial and ongoing training, and a supportive office team. Caregivers may assist clients with daily living, personal care, meals, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have access to a smartphone and email.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA certification; experienced caregivers with or without certification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance and aid with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and one-on-one client care.
• Prepare meals.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
