About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Northfield, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role supports older adults in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Opportunities are available for experienced PCA, HHA, CNA, or homemaker caregivers, as well as people seeking to begin a caregiving career. Free training is available to qualified applicants who do not yet have HHA or CNA certification.

Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Scheduling opportunities include flexible and consistent schedules, 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend work. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run essential errands when needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
• Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
