Requirements
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients
- Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor
- A compassionate, dependable attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt preferred (training may be provided)
Responsibilities
- Providing meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Offering medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule
- Supporting safe mobility, including transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention
- Assisting with errands and accompanying clients to appointments
- Preparing nutritious meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
- Encouraging independence, engagement, and participation in daily activities
