About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as overnight Caregivers. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting seniors with daily tasks to help them live as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. The position offers flexible hours, with specific overnight shifts available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Responsibilities include laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding, and providing companionship, especially to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Caregivers are also responsible for completing shift documentation and communicating client needs to the office.

Requirements

• Current CNA License
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist seniors with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Aid clients with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
