About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers provide assistance with daily activities and offer companionship and emotional support. The employer provides training, support, and resources, including orientation, in-field shadowing, and a six-week mentor program for new caregivers. Flexible schedules are available, with 4-, 8-, and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
Provide medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
