About The Position
Personal Home Care Plus is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our growing team in the Adams County area. The ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and individuals with disabilities. As a Care Professional, you will deliver essential personal care, support with daily activities, and companionship, ensuring clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. This role specifically involves services for a 17-year-old male who lives with family, does not require transportation or medication administration. Providers should be prepared to deliver personal care and homemaker support as needed. Requirements
- Previous care giving experience
- A passion for care giving and a wish to help others
- Attentiveness for being present and providing quality care
- Respect, patience, empathy, and kindness
- 18+ years of age
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Assistance with errands and shopping
- Bathing & showering
- Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care)
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Assistance with toileting
- Encourage exercise, reminders for prescribed exercises
- Protective oversight for safety, stand-by assistance
- Dementia & Alzheimer's care
- Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with team members
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
