About The Position
Personal Home Care Plus is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our growing team in the Denver County area. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients. As a Care Professional, you will deliver essential personal care, support with daily activities, and companionship, ensuring clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. This role includes homemaker/extraordinary services for a 9-year-old male living with family, focusing on teaching household skills like cleaning, laundry, dishes, meal prep, and scheduling to work toward independent living. Caregiver does not need to provide transportation or medication administration. Client care varies but will include light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, assistance with errands and shopping, bathing & showering, dressing and grooming, assistance with ambulation and transfers, assistance with toileting, encouraging exercise, protective oversight for safety, stand-by assistance, dementia & Alzheimer's care, completing required documentation, and communicating effectively with team members. Follow all agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Previous care giving experience
- A passion for care giving and a wish to help others
- Attentiveness for being present and providing quality care
- Respect, patience, empathy, and kindness
- 18+ years of age
Responsibilities
- Deliver essential personal care
- Support with daily activities
- Provide companionship
