About The Position
Personal Home Care Plus is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our growing team in the Denver County area. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Professionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and individuals with disabilities. As a Care Professional, you will deliver essential personal care, support with daily activities, and companionship, ensuring clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. This role involves providing Personal Care and Homemaker Services for a 22-year-old male living with family. The client enjoys art, video games, and TV, may need occasional redirection or prompting with decision-making from caregiver. Caregiver does not need to provide transportation or administer medication.
Requirements
- Previous care giving experience
- A passion for care giving and a wish to help others
- Attentiveness for being present and providing quality care
- Respect, patience, empathy, and kindness
- 18+ years of age
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Assistance with errands and shopping
- Bathing & showering
- Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care)
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Assistance with toileting
- Encourage exercise, reminders for prescribed exercises
- Protective oversight for safety, stand-by assistance
- Dementia & Alzheimer's care
- Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with team members
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
