Caregiver with HOYER experience- Saturdays 9:30am-8:30pm
About The Position
Senior Helpers of NW Indiana is seeking a caregiver to work Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., starting as soon as possible. The caregiver will provide companionship and non-medical assistance with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, following the client’s care plan and providing updates as needed. The role requires Hoyer lift experience and at least six months of adult caregiving experience. Pay is $17.00 per hour. The company describes its services as ranging from specialized care for people with chronic diseases to companion services, with a mission to provide compassionate care and improve quality of life for clients and their families. Requirements
- At least six months of adult caregiving experience.
- Hoyer lift experience is required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance.
Responsibilities

- Assist with non-medical care needs.
- Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed.
