About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is currently hiring a reliable, compassionate, and experienced female caregiver for a one-on-one client case located in McDonough, Georgia. This position requires Spanish-speaking abilities and involves providing care for a client with dementia. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, attentive, and able to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Requirements

• Spanish-speaking — REQUIRED
• Caregiving experience preferred
• Dementia-care experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Clean driving record
• Dependable and compassionate
• Must complete required employment and background requirements
• Smartphone/mobile device and email access

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Continuous supervision and safety monitoring
• Redirection and support related to dementia
• Meal preparation and assistance with meals
• Companionship and engagement
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Assistance with daily routines and activities
• Maintaining the client's dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship
