About The Position

Family Best Care is hiring a reliable in-home caregiver for an ongoing client care assignment in Shoreline, Washington. The role is suited to caregivers seeking consistent weekly work, longer-term client relationships, and communication with a responsive office team. An active Washington Home Care Aide (HCA) credential or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC/CNA) credential is required.

This is a part-time assignment of two 2-hour shifts per week, totaling four scheduled hours per week. Specific days and shift times will be discussed during hiring and are determined by client care needs. Applicants must be comfortable with short shifts and able to reliably commute to Shoreline for both weekly visits. Pay is $30.00 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate. Health insurance is available to caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week.

Requirements

• Active Washington Home Care Aide (HCA), Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• Current TB test or screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Food Worker Card.
• Valid government-issued photo ID.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Reliable phone access for work-related communication.
• Ability to complete onboarding documents if selected.
• Comfort with short shifts and ability to reliably commute to Shoreline for both weekly visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and complete light housekeeping tasks.
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and client engagement.
• Follow the care plan and document care accurately.
• Communicate updates, concerns, and schedule needs to the office promptly.
