About The Position

Visiting Angels of Jenkintown is seeking a Male Caregiver to provide non-medical home care services in Eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, maintaining their homes, and providing companionship. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for continued education.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dementia care is a plus
• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
