About The Position

Visiting Angels of Jenkintown is seeking a Male Caregiver with a Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Direct Care Staff certification to provide care in the Eastern Montgomery County area of Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, maintaining their homes, and providing companionship. The position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for continued education.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dementia care is a plus
• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
