Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Valid auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
Ability and willingness to drive within a 25-mile radius of your home address
Ability and willingness to work with both male and female patients
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Supportive and compassionate attitude

Responsibilities

Providing meaningful companionship to elderly clients in their homes
Assisting with personal hygiene and basic daily needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
Helping clients with mobility around the home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments and walks
Planning and preparing nutritious meals
Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while they shop
Performing basic housekeeping duties
Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
Providing activities and support that are essential to daily living
