About The Position

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver with Interim HealthCare, you will provide personalized care and support to seniors so they can live safely at home. You will assist with daily activities, help maintain a safe home environment, document clients’ conditions, and provide companionship. The role offers a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio and listed shifts of Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–11 a.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.–12 p.m., in Shingletown, California. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear background check and drug screen; the employer states it does not test for THC.
• Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment by ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
• Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
